Work onsite fulltime at our customer (GE Aviation) manufacturing facility in Lynn, Ma.
Completes planning and management of all activities in sourcing and procurement, conversion, and all logistics management activities.
Coordinate and collaborate with channel partners, suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and customers.
Analyze and review supply and demand performance across account and channel to create an integrated purchasing plan that optimizes procurement performance.
Handle the of Purchasing of materials, services, and supplies necessary for organization or customer's operation.
Run the management and control the contractual relationship with the customer.
Collaborate with managers to anticipate their demand for goods and materials.
Respond to intensified inquiries; review and authorize the purchasing recommendations of others.
Review inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, orders, and other documents to coordinate purchasing activities.
Assess supplier's products to ensure they align with specs and meet the organization's quality standard.
Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization's standard of price, quality, timing, and reliable supply.
Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery, and communicate the status of orders with internal and external customers.
Responsible for review and administration of long-term and/or blank purchase contracts.
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business OR equivalent combination of purchasing, sourcing, buying, or procurement experience, required
Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications, required
High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills, including the ability to comfortably address customer service issues face-to-face with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to capture and convey information to a variety of audiences
Flexibility, adaptability and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple, urgent requests
Autonomous, self-motivated, and goal driven with the ability to lead collaboratively and influence change
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with an ERP based purchasing software system, highly preferred
Experience managing strategic sourcing efforts for a large account, a huge plus
Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and v-lookups, a plus
Prior experience analyzing data / reports and drawing useful insights, preferred
